CAS is an organization that exists and thrives due to the dedication and passion of its volunteers. Volunteer input is critical to CAS' accomplishments and to the development and empowerment of anesthesiologists across the country and internationally. To acknowledge the impact and efforts of our volunteers the CAS Outstanding Volunteer Award has been created.

Biography

Description
Given in recognition of excellence in supporting CAS through volunteering.
This will be awarded to a CAS member who has made a significant and sustained contribution to the Society and has helped improve its image as a volunteer.
Criteria
This award is given to CAS members in recognition of excellence in supporting CAS through volunteering. Nominees are evaluated based on:
- Impact on CAS as an organization. Examples include: creating a new program to meet member needs, executing initiatives as a committee member etc.
- Being a CAS ambassador. Examples include: promoting the association and profession within their community, acting as a mentor to new members etc.
Eligibility
Nominees can be nominated only by CAS members. Self-nominations are not permitted.
Recognition - Up to two (2) nominees per year will be recognized.
