Dre Angela Ridi Dr. Ridi’s first role with CAS was as Chair of the Local Arrangement committee for the 2014 Annual Meeting in St. John’s. In 2015, she joined the Executive Committee of the CAS Atlantic Division, a position she continues to hold. In 2017, Dr. Ridi was appointed as NL representative to the CAS Board of Directors and serves on several Board committees, including Awards Committee, CAS Executive Selection Committee, Choosing Wisely Committee, and Ad Hoc reviewer for the CJA. She has also been a Trustee of the CARF Board since 2019. 
 
Dr. Ridi lives in St. John’s, NL, where she has been a faculty member at Memorial since completing residency there. Prior to that, she earned her undergraduate degree from McGill University and her medical degree from Dalhousie Medical School.  Currently, her clinical practice in adult anesthesia is at St. Clare’s Hospital, where she has worked in faculty development, the Resident Mentorship program, and as Residency Site Coordinator. She is actively involved in clinical and didactic medical education for undergraduate and postgraduate learners at Memorial University Medical School.
