Dr Fuda completed his anesthesiology training at Université de Montréal in 2009 and went on to complete a cardiac anesthesia fellowship at McGill University and has been working full time at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital since.
The Montreal Jewish General Hospital is in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood which is one of the most ethnically diverse neighbourhoods in Canada. With over 100 different ethnic communities, it is one of the few Montreal neighbourhoods where neither the French nor English language dominate. This environment is propitious to values that are very dear to Dr Fuda, which are diversity and equality. His most recent accomplishment at the safety committee was the publication of guidelines for the practice of anesthesia in out of hospital care. As of May 1st, 2022, Dr Fuda was named as Vice-President of the AAQ where is very proud to continue advocating for his profession and be able to promote it.
